Cutem Wellness · Facial
Hydrafacial
Cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration in a single device-based protocol. Most people leave with no redness and skin that looks awake.
Who it's for
- Dull skin or clogged pores.
- Blackheads that don't come out with home cleansing.
- Before an event: usually a visible result the same day, with no peeling for most people.
- Maintenance for oily-prone skin that's already under control.
What happens in the session
- 1
Cleansing. We remove makeup, oil and residue.
- 2
Gentle peel. Mild acids loosen what's clogging the pore, usually without stinging.
- 3
Vacuum extraction. The tip suctions blackheads and impurities. No squeezing.
- 4
Serum hydration. Antioxidants and hyaluronic acid according to your skin.
- 5
LED light. Soothes and closes the protocol.
Before and after your session
- Stop retinoids and exfoliants 3 days before.
- Come without makeup if you can; if not, we remove it.
- Afterwards: sunscreen and no exfoliating for 48 h. You can wear makeup the same day.
Not for you if…
- Active inflamed acne, rosacea flare-up, active herpes or recent isotretinoin. The dermatologist first; they're in Suite 102.
- Recent sunburn on the area.
Frequently asked questions
How often?
For maintenance, every 4–6 weeks. Before an event, 2 or 3 days before.
Does it help with acne?
With controlled acne, yes, as maintenance. With an active flare-up, the dermatologist controls it first and the Hydrafacial comes after.
Will my skin be red?
Usually not. Most people see at most a light pink that fades within about an hour; it varies with each skin.
Cutem Wellness services are dermo-cosmetic. They do not replace a medical evaluation or treatment. If you have an active diagnosis, tell your provider.
Active breakouts, dark spots or rosacea?
That's treated by the dermatologist first. The Hydrafacial comes later, as maintenance.
